Hi,
The speech engine that ships with the Game Book is FreeTTS 1.2. I know
it sounds horrible at first, but after a while you actually get use to
it. I've been using FreeTTS under Linux for about two years now, and I
don't even notice the speech quality any more. It is as familiar to me
as Eloquence. It is only hard to use the first time you begin using it.
As for the question about the sounds I will let our 7128 Software
expert, John, answer those questions.
