Hi. I know that this is kind of off-scope for the Star Wars game, but does anyone know of anymore network games that are available? Top Speed 2 is fun, but it's very predictable once everyone knows how to play. The card games make me want to just play real cards with face-to-face players. Audio Quake is a wonderfully innovative approach to sighted game accessabilizing...is that even a word? And Sound RTS is wonderful but can't be the only new game out there. I'm just starting to learn how to program effectively, so I won't be able to do anything really interesting for some time...at least six month...probably more like a year. Even crappy network games would be exciting. It's great to play against others, not only the computer.
The reason I thought of this is because of the myriad networkable Star Wars FPS games. I know it's not practical to put those features into this one, but if anyone is working on games, networking is a wonderful thing that most blind games simply don't do. There are only 120 or 130 games that are specifically made for blind individuals. That's probably about how many games were produced in the last year for sighted individuals...if this year was a bad year for gaming industries. Many of the games that were produced for sighted people were on Multiplayer platforms or were able to be played over the internet or over a LAN. I know things like this are kind of annoying, a novice programmer asking the experts to do something he can't even imagine...but I think it's an important consideration that is often overlooked. Sorry for the slightly off-topic message...the new Star Wars game sounds as awesome now as when I read about it a while back. On 7/14/07, Trenton Matthews <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I knew!
