Hi Dark, Agreed. Simply saying that someone does or does not like something isn't just enough to sway a developer from his or her course. We would like reasons backed up with concrete examples of why side-scrollers are less desirable than an ultra modern FPS game. Is the reasoning have to do with a personal dislike of the genre and style or is there some practical reason why they are infurior to FPS games. Sure I like Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Elite Force, Star Wars Jedi Knight, etc to, but I don't compare them to side-scrollers as they are totally different games and different styles of game play. Arguably games like Mario has been around since the 1980's but they are still popular. Why is Mario still popular with sightees if the game is old and not with the 21st century we might say?
