I have to agree with David, without original star wars sounds the game is no
longer in the category of star wars. Of course creativity is a really good
thing, but considering how many people likes star wars, and considering
that no games are available which can be played by a blind gamer, i must
say for a free accessible star wars game, it worth the risk. You won't sell
it, you won't say the sounds are made by you. That is the only way, as
David mentioned before, to have star wars sounds, unfortunately.
Breaking the copyrights of a game and claiming that it is yours while it is
definitely not (just like the case of super liam and dragon warriors) is
totally understandable, and unacceptable.
Using the sounds of an audio game is also unacceptable, because it is not a
style that works with only that specific sound set, just like starwars or
startrek. In other words, if you want to make a sidescroller with enemies
you don't have to steal the sounds of other games, since you can buy and
design your own sounds for it, and it'll be unique.
As hearing what happened with super liam i can understand Liam's points as
well, but stealing Super Liam's sounds and stealing star wars sounds is not
the same, because of the points which i mentioned before.
