Hi Lindsay, There are actually quite a few depending on what OS you have and if you are able to run 16-bit and 32-bit applications.
For example, there are the Richard Disteno games like Run for President, Atlantic City Blackjack, Dodge City Desperados, and Destination Mars. There are a number of older Dos apps like Piledriver, Wrestling League Manager, and Eamon Delux. That are relatively screen reader friendly. Plus there are the interactive fiction games that use an interpreter like Adrift, Winfrotz, Wintads, etc which there are litterally hundreds of games to choose from. So interactive fiction is a great place to start if you are looking for text adventures. Finally, I have been working on some text based games of my own which I hope to release for Mac, Linux, and Windows in time. As I am still in the process of development on those games I'll give more information when they become available. Cheers!
