A program is either accessible or it isn't. Scripts may make a program easier to use, but they do not make it accessible. If scripts can be made to use a program, then you can use the program without the scripts.
It has been my experience not to take everything blind people say as gospel. Many of them don't like to learn to use a program. If it doesn't work the way they think it should, they declare it inaccessible.
