Josh de Lioncourt here, I already have and use Skype, so this is definitely a viable option for me. I co-host a podcast via Skype and have found it to work very well. I'm not sure how well it works with groups over three or four, as I've only got two co-hosts, but it works fine with three and four so I wouldn't foresee problems with a few more.
