It has nothing to do with the window manager -- and what I suspect you're referring to is composite, which FVWM has no direct concept with. If you want transparency in that regard, go read up about xcompmgr and transset-df, but I'll reiterate again, that's nothing to do with FVWM. -- Thomas Adam
