seems the mouse is broken, in a weird way (as far as I can tell
though), single/double click works fine, just dragging (press and hold
down mouse button and move the mouse, e.g. moving or resizing window)
does not work. Verified using xev, press and hold produces two event
most of the time (down, up), just like click,
another mouse works fine,

It seems that selecting text shows same problem ...
My first guess would be a worn-out switch in the mouse itself.
Does it still behave the same way with a different one?
