Indeed, this solution works for me too!

However, in my config I had _exactly_ the same lines, and they didn't
work. I figured out the key is to issue "*FvwmTaskBar: NoIconAction
SendToModule FvwmAnimate animate" _before_ you start the FvwmTaskBar
itself. Then it works. If you first start the module, and then make
FVWM read its config (as was the case with me, I keep module configs
in separate files that are parsed with Read $[HOME]/.fvwm/config/...
at the end of my .fvwm2rc), it doesn't work.

I finally have the animations working, thanks a lot, Mikhael!
