Well, I was thinking about this. The attached patch should handle this.
Just set '$print_equatnum' to 'false' (Lisp 'nil') to supress equation
numbers.
I've modified jfricas to work with $print_equatnum.
The definition of |interpret-block| would also be a nice addition to FriCAS,
since it allows multi-line strings to be interpreted as if coming from a
file (with intendation working correctly).

As far as I can see, the connection to jfricas should now work smoothly.
Thank you, Waldek, for making this possible.
From my side I only see fixing of download.rst and install.rst
(INSTALL) (ImageMagick) and removing the problem with a failing sphinx
build of fricas.github.io. I'm afraid that I might not be able to do
this tomorrow. Let's see how I can manage.
I would also take a look at the patch of Peter Broadbery for testing the
FriCAS aldor interface, but maybe this is not totally essential for the
next release.
