The U.S. can't export enough Liquefied natural gas to displace Gazprom unless
it cuts other customers off (South Korea, Japan, China).

According to the Economist, Gazprom is delivering 230m cm/d to Europe.

If Europe could ride out Putin holding back natural gas by using its reserves,
and the U.S. stepped in with more shipments, it could be devastating. And the
U.S. could give European leaders the I Told You So treatment. The timing is
bad for Russia, as spring is coming.

Subject: Re: [FRIAM] Ukraine and NATO

I first note that the US engineered a coup in the Ukraine to eject a
pro-Russian President.

I add that NOT having any former Warsaw Bloc or former Soviet Republic
incorporated as a NATO state was explicitly promised prior to the USSR
peacefully disintegrating.

And how many nations has the US invaded since Gorbachev’s premiership?

I think the issue is, like Sweden and Finland, they have the role to Russia as
