The FS distribution is confined to the directory it’s installed to, so we suggest organizing a FREESURFER_HOME directory structure like: /Applications/freesurfer/5.3 /Applications/freesurfer/6.0 /Applications/freesurfer/7.1.1 etc… when installing different distributions. Just make to correctly source the directories when using different versions.
