Hi Sadia
by "plane" do you mean a snapshot of a slice? If so, you can set the slide
in freeview with --slice <x y z> and write out an image and exit with -ss
<filename>. If you want to do this in talairach coords you can add
:transform=$SUBJECTS_DIR/$s/mri/transforms/talairach.xfm
to the name of the volume you are displaying
