I'm using Freesurfer5.3 using virtual box on Windows 7, and need to be able to access/transfer my DICOM data from my windows hard drive to the freesurfer/subjects folder in the virtual box. There is unfortunately no help documentation on the quick install webpage for accessing shared drives from host on the guest (virtual box). I've tried "Insert Guest Additions CD image" from the "Devices" tab in virtual box, but the executable files in that folder (e.g., VBoxWindowsAdditions.exe) do not run. I'd appreciate any help. -Negar
