These scans are designed to have good contrast between gray and white
matter, so that results can be more easily processed in FreeSurfer.
Although this page is mostly focused on Siemens scanners, some scan
sequences have been adapted for GE scanners, and all the scan parameters
are listed in the protocols. Hope this helps!
