Hi

Thank you for developing this great software.

I have two questions:

1) ECC-memory needed or not?
- During all the freesurfer-calculations, would there be a validity-benefit
of using a Xeon-based system with ECC-memory compared to analysis performed
on a similar i7-based system with non-ECC memory?

2) Change in brand/model of scanner in longitudinal study
- We are about to scan a cohorte of patients for 5 years of follow-up.
Unfortunately we cannot use the same MRI-scanner. The scan-protocol will be
adjusted, so that is as close to the original as possible. Both scanners
are 1,5T.
- How sensitive is the freesurfer-based segmentation to different brand and
models of scanners? (I know this a quite a broad general question...)

kind regards
Christian
