Hi Miguel, As Bruce said, the best thing to do is to make sure you have enabled "Hardware Drivers" for your video card and make sure they are up-to-date. However, if you do not have a video card with the appropriate level of OpenGL support for an application (e.g., if you are running in a VM), I have been able to run tkmedit using the mesa SW X11 implementation in Ubuntu 9.04. You can install it with:
