Hi Andreas, I get the same error, in almost the same scenario; while re-running some studies with FS-4.3.x. The I also run them on a cluster with large amount of memory running Gentoo linux, and CentOS4_x64 FreeSurfer binaries. To complete the studies I take them on a 32 bit platform with Kubunto and CentOS4_x32 FreeSurfer binaries. This way, all the failed studies completed just fine.
