Yes, the max stat is stored in the CSD, and it's purpose is to enable voxel-wise correction, but I've never gotten around to it (and this is the 1st request:). You might be able to program something in matlab pretty quickly. You can use FS's load_csd.m to load the CSD file, and MRIread() to load the overlay.
