Hi Lucia,
I ran into the problem as well. For me, just making a symbolic link
named libtiff.so.3 which points to libtiff.so.4 seemed to do the
trick. Try this:

ln /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4 /usr/lib/libtiff.so.3

(assumes your libs are in /usr/lib/)
