Yes FreeDOS will work on every x86 / i386 / 8086 compatible
PC CPU, which also includes amd64 x86-64 compatible CPU, but

For example, FreeDOS does *not* run on IA-64 Intel (!)
Itanium processors, which did not have x86 compatibility.
It might run on IA-32 EL emulators on Itanium, though?
Now I'm confused - isn't BIOS or UEFI emulation of the BIOS a
requirement? If not, I need to recalibrate. :)
