I can't see what changed in the control panel, but I can confirm that
accessing (wget -S) the http://www.freedos.org/ website automatically
redirects (301 Moved Perm) to https://www.freedos.org/

I don't know when this change would have happened. You are the first
to mention it. Ever since I moved to this web hosting company, the
www.freedos.org website has been configured to respond to *either*
HTTP or HTTPS.

I've opened a ticket with the website's host.
