Hi!

Of course I have advertised it before but: If you use Dosemu2,
you can simply have a Linux directory which is visible to DOS
as a drive letter of your choice, even bootable C: if you like.

That makes it trivially easy to exchange files between DOS and
your Ubuntu Linux host operating system :-)

We also have drivers for specific VM, such as VMSMOUNT, which
provides DOS access to VMware shared folders. A more generic
solution can be to install a FTP client, WGET, SCP or similar
in DOS and have the corresponding server running in your home
network or locally on your Ubuntu. In both cases you probably
want to limit access to the local network for security, though.

The mTCP tool collection contains an FTP client and HTGET, which
also is available as separate package, as alternative to WGET.
For SCP, you may use the one included with the SSH2DOS package.

Cheers, Eric
