Hi all, hope I'm using this channel in the right way, first time :-)
I'm trying to setup an Compaq Elite LTE Laptop (486-DX2-75, 16MB) with Freedos and everything is working great after some time, even got WIN3.1 running in standard mode on top. What I really would like to have is a CF Card via PCMCIA adapter acting as additional hard disk, or even 2, I have two PCMCIA slots. This is working with Windows 95, so the hardware is not the problem. But whatever I try, I don't get this running for Freedos (can't try within Win 3.1 as for example cardsoft requires extended mode for that). Really tried a lot - actually cardsoft is kind of working to a certain extent, so it beeps when connecting the card, but cardinfo.exe is giving back only ???. Also atainit is stopping with error. I'm trying cardsoft 3.1 can't find a higher version. Any hint what I'm doing wrong here would be super helpful, thanks for reading ! Best Regards Markus
