If you use TurboVision apps under QEMU, you probably see a "double tap" effect when navigating with the 4 arrow keys. For example: when using the Turbo C/C++ IDE, I have to use the arrows on the 10-key pad instead.
I found a fix for this in QEMU. If you use QEMU, you can add *-global i8042.kbd-throttle=on* to the QEMU command line. I haven't experimented with games yet, to make sure it's not causing issues elsewhere, but so far it seems to work fine with other regular DOS applications (i.e. apps that didn't have problems before are still working as usual).
