Jim, I have not tried sound yet on the Zimaboard, but I do not see a specific local sound output on it so I would probably have to try USB speakers (maybe bluetooth? this sounds like a new experiment for me!). The VNC is through an external IP KVM device that acts as the VNC server, so I am sure this will not pass sound that way. As to performance, I have not tried games but every application that I have run on the Zimaboard installation works great! I got into using a Zimaboard because I needed it for Spinrite, which itself runs from a FreeDOS boot USB.
I do have a question, if I may. I had 1.4rc2 installed and just installed 1.4rc3. That went fine, got the network configuration all transferred and working. However, I had also previously installed apps from the 1.4rc2 Bonus CD. Now I am finding that FDIMPLES thinks I have 1.4rc2 BonusCD apps installed, which I actually don't. Is there a way for me to force an installation of the 1.4rc3 Bonus CD apps via FDIMPLES to bring my new installation up to date? ~Bill On Sun, Mar 16, 2025 at 4:04 PM Jim Hall via Freedos-user < freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net> wrote: > That's a pretty cool project!
