The Windows installer isn't DOS friendly. Besides, four target cpus with six memory models each is VERY bloated (especially because of six copies of huge "generics.ppu"). My local .7z of "8086 target only" is thus much, much smaller. But yes, it's meant to be a cross-compiler atop modern OSes.
