Thank you (merci) . I ll try to make the same bug but on the other side with my freedos vm . My last freedos install is bad. No Pack install. The prob not come from freedos. Jim h say that it is not make for vms. The pb. Come from users . Than i can use it and tell you about fdnet.bat . Virtualbox emulate hardware for each guest vm. It s a difference with qemu. Maybe fdnet.bat in a 'goal' make virtualbox dhcp understand the machine.

Ok: wiki.fredos.org explains that it is a program for virtualbox, and that in case you have a freedos without virtualbox you have to write a line first with your ethernet packet driver. Well, i don't have virtualbox and i don't understand why i have to load my packet driver in autoexec.bat (or fdauto, bat.) I prefer to load and unload it according to memory needs, time by time. Good. however i tried to add my packet driver to my autoexet.bat right before on the line produced by fdnet.bat . It don't work. Responds: dhcp request send:error, your ethernet card report an error for every packet sent.Check your cablin ecc.... and my Ethernet card driver don't work too; then I've to delete all the last line on my autoexec.bat ( and reload my ethernet packet driver)to go on line. Is there any explanation on how fdnet.bat works? thank you andrea
