in freedos1.3 there is in C:/fdos/bin the program fdnet.bat. OK: WIKI.FREDOS.ORG EXPLAINS THAT IT IS A PROGRAM FOR VIRTUALBOX, AND THAT IN CASE YOU HAVE A FREEDOS WITHOUT VIRTUALBOX YOU HAVE TO WRITE A LINE FIRST WITH YOUR ETHERNET PACKET DRIVER. Well, i don't have virtualbox and i don't understand why i have to load my packet driver in autoexec.bat (or fdauto, bat.) I prefer to load and unload it according to memory needs, time by time. Good. however i tried to add my packet driver to my autoexet.bat right before on the line produced by fdnet.bat . It don't work. Responds: _dhcp request send:error, your ethernet card report an error for every packet sent.Check your cablin ecc...._ and my Ethernet card driver don't work too; then I've to delete all the last line on my autoexec.bat ( and reload my ethernet packet driver)to go on line.
