Use a program called 'Rufus', make sure the file you have is an image file (Ex:
ISO, IMG, etc.)

Rufus is a program that formats the sectors on the USB drive to make it
bootable.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [Freedos-user] What I do with the .img file?

Greetings!

Sorry about the very newbie question, but I am trying to create a bootable USB
drive with FreeDOS, and the .img file is defaulted to IrfanView, an image view.
How do I make a bootable USB with that .img file? Thanks for the help.

josé
