Problem is, fdconfig.sys and autoexec.bat seem really complicated...
For questions about the boot config menu system, check the HTMLHELP: http://help.fdos.org/en/index.htm http://help.fdos.org/en/hhstndrd/cnfigsys/menu.htm You can also read this using the same name tool at the DOS prompt :-) A good way of learning about the menu is reading and understanding some example autoexec and config files which should be available on FreeDOS related websites. I do not remember specific ones, though.
