It is definitely worth a try to look at all changelogs after your
working version of virtualbox until 6.0.
Maybe they changed something related to your networking configuration.
Once you've found something there or not, you could go also asking on
vbox list/forums. I assume there is more knowledge related to this issue.
@rugxulo
Does a PCNet III work with the NE2000 drivers? I didn't know if so and
always used qemu, thinking I miss a NE2000 in VirtualBox. Nice if it
would work...

Since I upgraded to VirtualBox 6.0 (on Linux), the PCNTPK driver for the
AMD cards doesn't work anymore. I had it working in 5.2, with the

I haven't tried that newer VBox. It only came out a week ago,
apparently. So maybe they still have some bugs to fix. I hope this is
not a permanent regression!
I tried loading a newer version of the driver, 3.10, instead of the 2.20
that came with FDOS. No difference.
Where did you find that one? And does it have (libre) sources? Sadly,
we're very poor regarding number of available (working) packet
drivers.
Anybody seen this also? Any fixes? Thanks.
Try using the NE2000 packet driver instead. That one at least (also)
worked in older QEMU versions. But I would still strongly hope that
VBox would eventually fix their "bug".
