My best guess is that your BIOS is configured for UEFI+GPT boot media. Check your BIOS settings for an MBR boot option. Also, anything that says Legacy try to enable. Like maybe "Legacy USB keyboard support” I don’t know when (or if) FreeDOS will support a UEFI+GPT only system.
