If the installer is run in advanced mode, you can specify what drive you want it to install FreeDOS. Advanced mode can be entered 2 ways. Either by using "setup adv" from the command line or by pressing CTRL+C when it is waiting for user input. As long as dos can see a drive, it should be able to install to it. However, you would still need to know if you want it to go on E: F: X: or wherever. My only concern is SYS transfer of system files messing up your boot code. > > Your rewrite should do the trick. We will keep our fingers crossed. The installer works great. It's just getting the installers loader to setup an environment for it to run under that is compatible with all of the bizarre system configurations it may encounter. :-) Hopefully have preview 13 out in a couple days (as free time permits). > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance > APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month > Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now > Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
