0.2 is supposed to be better in every way. I think the original was way too simple. This one is much more ambitious, but I'm not sure if I did things in the most optimal way. There's still tons of room for improvement, but I can't even begin to describe how much stuff I fixed and added. > As you may recall, I used it in my DOS4WIN64 package: > > https://sourceforge.net/p/freedos/mailman/message/33121840/ > > This package bundles MetaDOS with Qemu to allow to run DOS applications > on a 64bit Windows PC. Yes, of course I remember. I even (optionally) use that QEMU via the (new) RUN-QEMU.BAT file. The original 0.1 release was well before I found out about newer QEMU Windows builds, hence I was only testing on old 0.9 and 0.13 atop Windows. Since QEMU is somewhat complicated and hard to rebuild (and I don't have the energy to try), esp. on Windows, I prefer to try to work with as many prebuilt copies as I can. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user
