Hallo Eric,
I am well, good to hear from you again, yes I have used linux in the past
and was disapointed in the time it takes to start talking. Infact the same
as my windows system.
My mini-itx small unit speaks in a few seconds and that is waht I neet just
to take a quick note. just that I want to make it a smaller unit by using
the internal sound card.
I did try to use tiny talk it can work with the internal sound card and it
did work but was rather sluggish.
The last version of tiny talk I have is ver 167m do not know if there a
later version.I do like asap from Microtalk and it works very well I am not
sure if there is a way to make it work with the soundcard in side my
mini-itx computer.
My screenreader uses the keys on the numeric keypad to navigate the screen
.best wishes
Rinaldo.
