Couldn't there be a optional syncfat program that one could run at the boot of freedos, and before shut down? Could synchronize the FreeDos LFN and the M$ Dos storages mediums. It may not,since isn't live access, violate the patent. Many Programs write/read directly to and from the fat tables without violating the patent. CD/DVD Burners etc
