Hi, I use FreeDOS for a long time with VMware without any kind of problem, but there is a strangeness to VMware:
One NIC connects only to ONE OF host machine OR network. It is strange and not easy to workaround. On Win98 I just configured 2 cards and let it run, On FreeDOS there might be some config but it can take some time.
