Hi, Yes, I think it is a good idea to ask here and then to buy an old card (via ebay or others...).
I am using SBLive here, if you only want to use Mpxplay or QV it works very good. If you want to use the driver for emulating SB16, I think that I heard, that an old mainboard has to be used.
