Yes!

QuickBasic was born in version 1.0, of course and
reached version 4.5. Later, I don't know what happened
and one day there appeared versions 7.0 and 7.1 which
are called QBX (BC70 or BC71, also Microsoft Basic).
Before these last ones, I think, MS developed the
QBASIC, which is QB 4.5, but more compact. It does not
support EXE making or QuickLibraries and it does not
load or save binary BAS files, only raw text.
I think that QB is the best option for the
programmer starter. The only bad point is that it's a
bit inflexible when you want to make something big and
it's difficult to change when you get used to it.

PD: Sorry about my HTML in last post. Won't happen
again. I am learning. I'm new! :P
