Follow-up Comment #5, bug #18243 (project freeciv):
Doesn't seem to be much activity from Gtk upstream :( Other apps are also
broken by this specific commit. Distros (Gentoo, Archlinux) seem to be
reverting the Gtk change.
cazfi, when you reproduced this, did you see any Gtk-WARNINGs or similar on
the console? (Reason I ask is because the trouble some are reporting with
2.24.5 comes with such warnings, but I don't know if it's actually related to
our trouble.)
