As mentioned, there is no such thing as FreeBSD distributions. Also FreeBSD is not ready (yet) for the Mac. If you want to run a BSD on your Mac (other than Darwin/OSX), you may want to try NetBSD or OpenBSD. They have ppc ports, and I have ran them both on an iMac.
