i've heard scsi hard drives are really good.
SATA are too.
i've also seen at least one site which claims that ide easily outperform scsi.
the performance are similar by interfaces, SCSI drives tend to have higher RPM and faster heads and can be 30-50% faster for 5 times higher price.
