Because, like the software creation, the responses on the questions list are done by volunteers. You happened to get one who seemed to need to respond, but didn't have any information to respond with. You will probably also get some more useful responses. (Sorry, I don't know much about nano, tiny or pico BSD except that those words tend to be used to imply very small) Of course, you could try to experiment.
