That's a well-known problem. It can be worked around by setting MOZ_DISABLE_IMAGE_OPTIMIZE=1 in the environment before starting firefox. > This is on 10.0-RELEASE, firefox-27.0.1,1, xorg-7.7. It isn't even specific to FreeBSD. Mark Kettenis (OpenBSD) analyzed the underlying problem, but I can't remember where he posted it.
