Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with php-exetensions port.

I have latests ports tree on STABLE - 6.1
I've just made portsnap fetch extract
then I entered to /usr/ports/devel/php-exetensions
then
make package-recursive
and selected the needed extensions,
after building the packages(all seems ok, no errors)
I've got the tgz files,
then on the other server, I've made
pkg_add -r php5 php5-session and viola,
I've got php 5 and after adding php type to apache and got php running
I've tested creating a session... nothing happened - error occured in
logs,
after searching for a while I saw that the php5-session package is EMPTY!
It contains ALL needed + files and no .so file?!?

I've seen this behaviour before for other extensions,
when I built php5-session from the package directory itself - php5-session
the package has .so and all files as it should be.

Is this known bug to you?

How can I solve this, there are some other packages from php5-extensions
that has no .so files in it!

The idea ot php-extensions is all exts to be build from one place instead
building each
package from it's own direcotry isn't it?

please answer if you have some ideas!

thanks!
