hselasky added a comment. julian: Hence a lock is used, the callback won't be called when callout_stop() returns 1. Only the mutex will still be used. Maybe a callout_reset() having 1 tick as timeout will work instead of callout_stop(). If the callout_reset() returns 0 we add a ref instead of grabbing one. ....
