Rather, they'll want the equipment to recognize MAC addresses and grant different degrees of access to them. For example, a user might be trapped in a "walled garden" until agreeing to an acceptable use policy, and then redirected -- but only once -- to a specific Web page, such as the hotel chain's reservation page.
