Thanks, I'll look at it more.

I'm trying to connect to a windows vpn, and most of the stuff I see
suggests pptp+pppd, but the documentation for most things contains
commands that just dont work.

peers files contains the same options as /etc/ppp/options
or /etc/ppp/options.ttyxx files - generally speaking,
any options valid for pppd. So, see 'man pppd'.

I don't know about your VPN scenario, but anyway I would
recommend you to give mpd a tyr.
